Palma
Palma's magnificent Gothic cathedral dominates the waterfront. Its foundations were laid on the site of a mosque, in 1230 and it took 500 years to build. Close to the cathedral is the old Arab quarter, its maze of narrow winding streets hiding museums, palaces and beautiful courtyards. Most of the main sights are located within the area, bounded by the old walls.
